Thinking
about holydays, I’ll say the one I enjoyed the most was the time I traveled to the south with my
family and a friend's family. I was very little at the time
(around 8 years old), but I remember the whole idea came all of the sudden and
we didn’t plan what we would do every day. My friend’s family was moving to a
rural zone in Pitrufquén and we got invited when they were still settling in.
We stayed
for a month or so and we visited Valdivia, Pucón and some other places I can’t remember
right now, sadly I don’t have any photos to show, because my family was very
fond of photos in physical format, thus they are all at home in some dust
covered album. Maybe it was because of how everything unfolded naturally, but I
have a lot of good memories from that time; maybe it was the people I spent
time with or some kind of weird nostalgia, but when thinking of holydays, this
was the first memory that came to my mind.
I’ll be
looking forward to read about your experiences!

I´d never been to the south of Chile, and Pitrufquén looks amazing. I hope one day to have one of this unplanned holidays
