Hello there! I'll introduce myself, my full name is Matias Eduardo Martínez Toledo, I was born on July 13th, 1998 in Viña del Mar. That's where I grew up with the company of my family: my mother, Myriam and my father, Eduardo (hence my middle name). Although I have two half brothers, I was raised alone, because they were already making their own life when I was born.
So, that angelical baby grew up to be old enough to go to school. I studied the whole 12 years on the same place. I had some problems during 12th grade, but the memories of my classmates are sweet, most of us got there from a very young age so we got along pretty well. As soon as I got out of school, I moved to Santiago to study Public Administration, it's been a great experience so far.
My hobbies include playing the piano, playing videogames and for 3 or 4 months now, I've been very focused on drawing, I'm loving the practice with human anatomy, I decided to start from there because my drawing style is heavely influenced by japanese artist, Hirohiko Araki, who excels at drawing characters with some fabolous poses. I would love to show you some of my progress, but I don't have any pics right now, so enjoy some of his drawings.
As one could infer from the piano thing, I love listening to music and as everyone, I've been trough many phases of music styles, but right now I'm stuck with Prince, although his music is old, I still felt like it brought something new to my ears. But my free time isn't just grabbing a pencil and drawing some lines while Raspberry Beret sounds in the background. I really like watching movies too! And I could go on a long list if I mentioned every single one I love, but we won't go that way and I'll stick to just say my favorite saga is Star Wars, it's such a huge universe with so many characters that grow on you (probably thanks to nostalgia), but I'm really hyped for the new trailer for Episode IX that'll drop soon this week!
